Unable To Sleep

I have been trying to sleep for the past 2 hours but I just cannot sleep. Yawn! See! I am yawning and yet I cannot sleep. Sigh. I really am surviving on short periods of sleep these few weeks. But I am happy to be sleeping less. Haha.

I Want To Go Out Too!

A close friend of mine is now gallivanting in the pearl of the orient. I want to go there too! She left early this morning but on Jetstar. I die die also will not take budget. Well......maybe not to certain places. I rather pay abit more for full-fare, expecially when after all the charges are in and the difference between full-fare and budget does not differ by more than $150. It does not make any comfort sense. Haha.

Long Days....Again

I cannot believe this. Twice this week I was the last person to leave the staff room and had to be chased out by the sevurity guard. Oh my. I never expected it to happen while I was at this school. Never did. Haha. At least the prelim markings are over. I can rest over the weekend.

Chow Fun!

Watching a musical about chow fun and going away with a packet of sambal belachan seasoning after it sure is interesting. Hahaha.

Now to stay awake till 5:45am, then I set off again! Oooooh yeah!

Finally, Something Right

For a very long time I never supported the notion of having a casino in Singapore. Even the design and layout of the supposed IRs have the casino at a main throughfare or a central location, without placing emphasis on it. That is plain spit in the face to the government. At least finally they did something right and stopped the IRs from having free shuttle buses in the heartlands. Just a thought, if the ministers claim that the casino is meant for the foreigners, why not just ban the locals from going into the casino like South Korea? Stopping the buses is a step in the right direction but I think until a complete ban occurs, the gaming problem and social ills will still plague Singapore. Or is the government not willing to ban the locals outright because of the entry levy that they ar epocketing handsomely? Just like how they refuse to ban cigarette, cigar or other form of tobacco or opiate smoking in Singapore because they bring in plenty of tax dollars even though of the health ills. Banning illegal cigarettes is useless. Or spending plenty of tax dollars on stopping them is counter productive. Ban it totally, like how it is in Bhutan. Smoking doesn't affect those who smokes, it is those who are forced to be second-hand smokers who suffer. What do I mean by forced? Like when the wind changes direction and blows the cigarette smoke into the bus stop even though the idiot is "5meters" away or having to pass through a cloud of cigarette smoke when entering Vivocity (those who alight at the bus stop right at the doorstep of Vivocity know what I mean) or having an idiot of a neighbour who is not allowed to smoke in the living room but goes to his room, opens his window and smokes, causing his cigarette smoke to whaff into the other unsuspecting households?! If you can ban chewing gum, why not cigarettes?

Getting Excited

Yeah! Going to go back to school again soon! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! So Excited! Hahahaha!

Splashing Fenne

Saw my cousin, her hubby and her 6 month old son while out yesterday. Little Zachary is still so cute but for a 6 month old, he is really big sized! Haha. It was also the first time that she has met any of my family members and for any of my family memebers to see her. Ooooh.

On another note......eh......I made a real boo boo yesterday. While we were chatting away at Pastamania, the fenne slipped off my fork and landed in the plate. Unluckily, it landed at the only open area where there was tomato sauce and no other fenne or ingredients in the way. Slip! Splash! Oops! The tomato sauce splashed on to her hair. Argg! Surprisingly, she did not make much of a fuss. Sorry!

Is It Real?

I do not know if things are real. I really do not know. I hope things will work out. Getting ready to go out soon.

I Love The Place

Yes. When I went back yesterday to discuss the issues for 2 weeks from now, it all came back to me again. I really love this place. I love the little ones. I love the papers. I love being in that stuffy room. Hahaha!
