Make Or Break

Tomorrow I will be observed by the principal during my lesson. It is not all that bad I think. I hope. Hahaha. Been preparing for tomorrow's lesson for the entire week now. I kept looking for interesting pictures hoping to peek the curiosity of my students. I guess I am working with a safer bunch tomorrow. Went out yesterday hunting for a whole bunch of components. I am not certain if the school has what I need and I can not risk not aving the components. Ah well, it is money well spent. I hope my students will at least survive the lesson. Hahahaha!

Thinking and Pondering

I really really realy want to go. However, I have no one to go with. Sigh. Did a search online today and found a condolence entry. Hmm......

Pay So Much For What?

F1 is in town and I can't help but wonder why anyone would pay so much just to see a car for less than a second for 50 to 60 times and have their ears popping out. There is perfectly comfortable place to watch all this. The place is? Your home! Hahahaha!

Missing

Yeah, I admit it. I miss her already. It takes some time to get over and I know I will, someday. However, I can't help but wonder. Sigh.

Recertified Again

Had a very bad rash during the week. I think must be due to the over bleeching I did last week with my clothes. Oww! It hurts! It hurts! My skin is drying up and cracking! Ahhhh!!!!!!!

On a side note, just got recertified for my CPR again. There are the plus and minus points but at least it is something I can use for future reference. As usual, my boys complained that I had a headstart on them. Well, my training from three years back does help. Heeez!

Draining Week

Another week down. I am starting to think my trip to NZ might not happen at all. Well, it never had much of a chance of happening but I was hoping for some kind of hope. Alas, it just does not seem promising.

Continuos Observation

I am gettin greally tired with all the observations. No wonder when my peers told me that when practicum comes around, it will be the worse time of our entire teaching career. I am not going through it now but I am being placed through the exact same treatment. It sure is both stressful and tiring. The good thing out of this is that it is helping me to improve my delivery and preparation. I don't like it but I got to accept it.

First Aid Course

My CPR certification has lapsed since June. So happens that the CCA that I am involved with currently has a First Aid course for them and being one of their overseer, I took up the opportunity to do a refresher and to revalidate my certification again. Sure was interesting going through the bandaging and understanding of the aspects of the physiology of a human. Ah....memories of my lifeguard course. Heez!

Conflicting Thoughts

Argg! I am constantly told by my mentors not to use what I have learnt in the industry or my tertiary education in teaching my students! This is stupid! I understand that they should understand what the syllabus requires of them but if they are not exposed to how things really work, why on earth is MOE asking mid-career applicants to join in the first place? You want our experience but at the same time you don't want us to teach the students how things really are? This is conflicting bullshit! Sadly, this is the way the education system works in singapore. Sigh!

Preparing

Got alot of work to prepare for. I have to run my maths class independetly now and also have to prepare for my sec 3 classes. I hope I do well. Feeling really tired now. Yawn!

Holiday Homework

Sigh. The holidays are at an end and I got 4 more weeks of lessons to prepare for. Well, 3.5 weeks actually, what with the exams starting early and a public holiday in the final week. Like most students, I slacked through the week too. Started preparing for lessons only yesterday. Sigh. Another observation coming up. Arggg! Sianz!

A Week Of Siesta

The one week term break has been a welcomed relief and snoozing through the week has been really......well, tiring. Haha. Sleeping too much ain't good and it helps to propogate the waist line. Urgggg. Considering to put in some form of exercise over this weekend. Pants getting tight!
