Quick Nap

Well, I have not really had much sleep these 2 days. Reason being I am trying to get some nice stuff on Amazon but they are in another time zone. Some of the deals are great, some so-so. Well, I do hope that the intended recepient likes it. Haha.

Clicking Ouch

I have been happiy clicking on items on my Amazon account. Saw a lot of really nice stuff that I tried to catch on lightning deals. Also, most importantly, the books or Blu-Ray discs I am buying are at half the price than those in the shops in Singapore!!! Unless they place 50% discounts on their items, even for the new ones, I guess my discs and books will continue to ship in from USA. Sigh. How am I to help the local economy when it prices itself out of the market for the locals?

Going To SITEX......Again

Yes, I am crazy enough to throng into the crowd at SITEX for the second day in a row. At least I now know what I want and am heading in to get my very own Samsung Blu-Ray player! Yeah! Well, I have to get it anyway, my cousin is coming home soon with my spoils of war from UK. Heh Heh Heh.

TOsay is supposed to be the department's Dinner & Dance event but I am not going. I'm too new and also, I really am not interested in such things. Well, I hope that at least the quarterly bonus next month is fat, pro-rated or not.

Bookshop Walking

Went around town looking for the book "Last Chance To See", the 2009 version with Mark Carwardine and Stephen Fry. It costs too much locally. Cheapest one I found was $62.06, while it is cheaper to ship in from UK or USA. Damn books cost so much in Singapore. Argg......

Games Again.....

Weekend is here. I got nobody to go out with. So I just retreated back to my cocoon and fired up some games. Lego Indiana Jones, seems like an interesting enough game. I guess my PC is my only companion now. Yawn......

Feeling Empty

Recently I have been feeling a bit empty in life. The lady that I like does not know that I like her. My work is mundane. Life basically is not as wonderful as I hope it will be after just turning 30. Sigh.

Today's her birthday! Although she does not come here, I just want to place a birthday wish for her. A really beautiful and nice lady she is. Should I? Haha.

Cold-Turkey?

Is the best way to move on from one disappointment by going cold turkey over the disappointment? I hope it does. Been doing it for the week already.

2nd week into my new company. So far so good. Well, I hope. Met a couple of people this week to discuss plans. Hope it comes true.

Not feeling any wiser today. Well, at least I had great company today during dinner. I am really lucky that she agreed to meet as she's not always free on weekdays. Yay! Haha.

Not Reading Between The Lines

Nah, I do not want to read between the lines anymore. She was mentioning about her close friend and the woes her close friend might have with the boyfriend. Is it a sign to me? I really don't know. She even commented about my stomach getting bigger. Heez. It is a lifestyle choice.

Qantas Woes

By now, most of you would have known about the Qantas Airbus A380, flight from Singapore to Sydney, which had an engine suffering major malfunction over Batam and returned to Changi airpost for an emergency landing. Like most people, I was taken aback by this news and followed it closely on the local news website channelnewsasia.com. However, when I was going through the photos, I saw this photo taken by the reporters. You decide what you can read from this photo. Hahaha.
