When you fall asleep and dream that you are at your own wedding dinner, it usually is a good thing. However, my dream was scary because my supposed wife, though having a very bubbly personality, is stick thin, really short and very small sized. Oooooh. Definitely not my cup of tea. I don't even know of anyone with such discription. Scary.

Draining The Night Away
Trying to drain the night away so that I may be sleepy enough to fall asleep later at around 7 to 8am. This way, I would be well rested come my night shift later this evening. Haha.

Hoping For A Trip
Already 2 planned trips this years went up in smoke. 1 trip to HK was scrapped after my only possible companioin had to pull out because of his PhD presentation being brought forward. Another trip planned for June is scrapped because of my dental implant procedure. I really hope that my last and final chance of a trip this year end will come to fruition.

Liquid Diet
Stuck on liquid diet for at least the next 2 months. Not because I want to lose weight but because I do not want to hurt the wound in my mouth. Although Ensure will sustain me enough through these 2 months but all that sweetness does gets on my nerves after a while. I decided to have a bowl of Miso soup everyday. When I can, maybe an Avocado juice where available. Some soft-boiled eggs too. At least it makes the hunger pangs easier to bear.

Pain In The Mouth
Owwwwwww......
Pain in the mouth again. For want of a new tooth, I went to get an implant done. No not the boobies kind you hormonally challenged idiots. I had a titanium screw implanted into my jaw bone. It is my second implant and I hope it will be my last. The aftermath of the surgery hurts but, hey, the doctor who worked on me is really beautiful. Hahaha.

Shakespeare In Love?
While online just moments ago, some thoughts of love came to my mind.
Of which, scenes from some of Shakespeare's plays came to mind:
From A Midsummer Night's Dream (Act 1 Scene 1)
LYSANDER: (Line 136)
The course of true love never did run smooth;
HERMIA: (Lines 152~157)
If then true lovers have ever cross'd,
It stands as an edict in destiny.
Then let us teach our trial patience,
Because it is a customary cross,
As due to love as thoughts and dreams and sighs,
Wishes and tears, poor fancy's followers.
HELENA: (Lines 238~246)
Love can transpose to form and dignity.
Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind;
And therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind.
Nor hath Love's mind of any judgment taste;
Wings and no eyes, figure unheedy haste;
And therefore is Love said to be a child,
Because in choice he is so oft beguiled.
As waggish boys in game themselves forswear,
So the boy Love is perjured everywhere;
From Romeo & Juliet (Act 2 Scene 2)
JULIET: (Lines 35~38)
O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name!
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Capulet.

Binge Buying
I was feeling abit upset this couple of days over some work issues. Feeling frustrated, I went to Giant at Vivocity and just bought snacks at random. Little did I know, I spent up to $50 on just what is colloquially known in local chinese as "rubbish". Having bought these "rubbish", I don't feel like eating them at all. Sigh.

Day Out At Istana
Was out at Istana just yesterday. It was hot, hot, hot! It was great going in though. It has been almost 20 years since I last went in. Haha. The Istana building was really nice. Funny thing was, we saw a nice looking cupboard like thing and thought it looked nice. Later then did we realise that it was an air conditioning duct. Haha.
I liked the well manicured garden. The gardenere must have placed great effort it keeping it so well maintained. Unfortuately, it was all ruined with the great mass of people stomping all over the ground. Haha.
