of reservoir and bike shower

went to school today intending to meet the PhD research fellow to discuss my FYP with. alas he was in a meeting when i arrived and i did not get to see him. i left NTU and decided to go along jurong port road & west coast again. when i passed Pandan reservior, i could not resist the temptation and turned in to cycle around the reservior. the track was 6km long and was paved with sand & gravel. thankfully it was not loose so cycling on it wasn't very slippery. i just kind of liked cycling around the water body and look foward to going for diving again in September. halfway through the track, there was some constrution going on and i had to get off and push my bike through. not realizing that the soil was very loose, i got clumps of loose soil all over my wheels and bike. although most of the soil and mud "flew" off when i begun pedalling again, bikey needed a through bath. along the journey home, i kept brushing my shoe against the front wheel as i was in motion to get rid of as much soil as possible. i even purposely cycled into water puddles to wash off what i could. reaching home, i gave bikey only her second proper bath since i got her. tired after cleaning her up, i took a shower and went to sleep. got work tomorrow. heard that my job is on the line again. i'm not surprised though.
