dehydration

never, never attempt long distance cycling without hydrating yourself properly. i cycled to NTU from home and was properly hydrated before i left. i was still ok by the time i reached NTU. however, after settling my issues in NTU, i only had a quick sip of water from the water cooler and proceeded on to Fort Canning. halfway through, i was feeling the effects of dehydration. i felt very very dry inside. plus i was visibly very very tired. my speed slowed to a crawl. it was really an excrutiating journe and i sipped water when i reached Fort Canning. drinking too fast after such an experience will only damage my inner systems. i think i need a camel-pak, anyone willing to give me one?
