another bigot

companies are not willing to employ freshies and yet they want people with experience. it is a bloody chicken and egg situation.

saw a mp mention in parliament that singaporeans should get rid of the t-score mentality. however, have they ever considered why this mentality came about? everywhere, the best are praised for what they have achieved. plenty of scholorships and awards go only to those with the best grades. the civil service itself only want the best and the brightest graduates. the public sector also want only the best and the brightest. this leaves those whose results are no more than average very unemployed. as such, how can you blame the singaporeans for having this clutch mentality? the government caused it! if they would even employ some person wth a diploma or maybe a degree holder without honors for one of their "management" positions, would the general public still have this same clutch mentality?
